Lindsay and Nickolai met in San Francisco’s Marina district through a friend connection. Neither of them were interested in going out on this particular night – but despite the hiccup they both dragged themselves out. The two were almost inseparable even after their first meeting and their natural bond and chemistry is clear when you’re around them.
So two things you should note about this wedding right away. 1) It’s at a freakin’ ski lodge in Lake Tahoe in February 2) The bride is pregers (sp?) which I find insanely impressive
The third thing is more subtly obvious, which is that these were just straight up awesome people. Like really delightful, and giving, and just wonderful together. I guess you would have to be likeable to be able to talk your friends and family into two gondola rides and a ceremony in the snow.
And even though the ceremony was held outdoors in February at a ski resort in an El Niño year we absolutely scored with the weather. It was semi-warm out with a spectacular sunset. Everyone left the ceremony just chatting about how excellent the whole thing turned out.
