We're Russ and Alex, Sonoma County–based wedding photographers and parents our son, Levi. Despite the business name, Levi isn’t our last name — it’s Russ’s middle name, and so as adorable as it sounds, we did not name our son "Levi Levi".
When we're not photographing weddings, we love hiking, traveling, and awesome food. These days we spend our time with friends and family while exploring all the beauty the Bay Area has to offer.

My name is actually Alexandrina, something I share with Queen Victoria—and yes, I really did grow up in Transylvania...the real place in Romania...there are far fewer vampires there than you might imagine
My path eventually brought me to the United States, where I’ve lived in the Vail area of Colorado and Laguna Beach before settling in San Francisco and now Sonoma County.
Outside of photography, I enjoy practicing yoga, cooking for the people I love, and being Levi's adoring mommy.

Curious about the world and the moments that life meaningful
I’ve called the Bay Area home for more than 13 years, but I grew up in San Diego, which explains why I’m a complete weather wimp.
Along the way to becoming a professional photographer, I picked up a master’s degree in International Relations, learned Spanish, traveled to 60 countries, and lived on 4 continents. I’m also a geography trivia nerd with a serious addiction to biographies on historical figures.
What eventually drew me to photography was a curiosity about the world, along with a lifelong passion for beauty and authenticity.
Outside of that, I’m a big fan of stand-up comedy and music. These days, though, what shapes me most is being a father...which has also sparked a love of dad jokes and bad puns.
